A week after Bun B announced that he was organizing a telethon for Hurricane Harvey victims in Houston, the altruistic rapper has recruited several A-list celebrities to join him on his charitable mission.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Beyonce, Oprah Winfrey, Jamie Foxx and more will appear on the telethon, Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Harvey Relief, which is set to air nationwide next week. Kelly Rowland, Michael Strahan, George Clooney, Barbra Streisand, Reese Witherspoon and more will also appear on the telethon.

Networks ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC and CMT have teamed up to air the one-hour Hurricane Harvey relief telethon simultaneously on Sept. 12 at 8PM ET. The event will also feature a performance from Texas native George Strait from his San Antonio benefit concert. The show will broadcast live on the East Coast and replay on the West Coast and will be available online via live stream on Facebook and Twitter during the East Coast airing.

Proceeds from "Hand in Hand" telethon will go to United Way of Greater Houston, Feeding Texas, Habitat for Humanity, Direct Relief, Save the Children and The Mayor's Fund for Hurricane Harvey Relief (administered by the Greater Houston Community Fund) through the Hand in Hand Hurricane Relief Fund managed by Comic Relief Inc.

Bun B is among several Houston natives who have been on the frontline providing relief to the victims affected by Hurricane Harvey. Beyonce's BeyGOOD Foundation has posted donation links to Houston-based Bread for Life and Greater Houston Community Foundation. All of the monies will go to buy baby formula, cots, medical supplies, wheelchairs and more.
