50 Cent hit a few roadblocks last month when he attempted to put on a surprise performance in his old Jamaica, Queens neighborhood, but the G-Unit CEO has lined up another venue to rock New York City this fall. After his "40 Day" family event was canceled because of negative press and safety concerns 50 decided to pull out all the stops for his upcoming Oct. 3 concert, "ThisIs50 Fest."

In order to catapult his show from a simple concert to festival status, 50 has rounded up a solid line-up of hip hop performers -- newbies and veterans alike -- to take the stage with him.

It was confirmed that Kid Cudi, Wale, and newcomer Mike Posner would appear at the event and by late afternoon, there was word that several other artists, including Maino, Jim Jones, Uncle Murder AKA Uncle M, Papoose, Cory Gunz, Ron Browz, D-Block and Trav would be on hand to perform. The concert, which is now being compared to Hot 97's Summer Jam because of it's impressive roster, will kick off at 4PM on Oct. 3 at Governors Island in NY. Tickets are priced at $45 each.

50's new guidebook for success, 'The 50th Law,' hit stores yesterday (Sept. 8). The book is co-written by author Robert Greene and details personal experiences from 50's life and career that are intended to motivate readers to pursue their own success.
