Between Rihanna's "thug life" tribute to Tupac Shakur, Chris Brown's elbow shrine for his new girlfriend and a Drake fan's impulsive forehead stamp, it seems that the year of controversial tattoos is carrying over into 2012. 50 Cent is the latest artist making headlines after tweeting a questionable image of boxer Floyd Mayweather's 13-year-old son, Koraun, with full arm tattoos of his name, a star and a money symbol.

While it seems like a joke, the famed boxer was quick to express his disappointment, citing the G-Unit head honcho for his reckless babysitting job and providing a photo -- check it out below -- of his inked offspring.

The 'Candy Shop' crooner and boxing's literal hitmaker have been friends for a while now, spotted together while Fif places bets on major fights and Mayweather enters the ring. The two both have children and seem to share the same sense of humor, with Floyd joking that 50 Cent's son was next. "I'm going to take @50cent son to get a tattoo on his face. No LOL," he tweeted.

Time will tell if the ink fades, but for little Koraun's sake, we hope it does.
