Val Kilmer and 50 Cent50 Cent knows how to make his money. For years, he's been mining a fictionalized world of crime, drug dealing and violence that is loosely based on his ever-authentic past in the gritty New York streets. With a new movie deal in tow, 50 is getting to work on a crime film with the inimitable Val Kilmer entitled 'Gun.' Sounds fun, doesn't it? If you've seen 'Tombstone,' you know that my man Val knows how to shoot some people up when things don't go his way.

The project doesn't have major studio backing, but will start shooting soon in Grand Rapids, MI. Jessey Terrero ('Soul Plane') is slated as the director. Other stars besides 50 and Kilmer include Charles Malik Whitfield.

According to Billboard, the movie plans to touch on similar issues and story lines as the popular 2005 50 biopic 'Get Rich or Die Tryin'.' It's produced by Emmett/Furla Films, Cheetah Vision Films and Curtis' own Action Jackson films.

In addition to acting, 50 Cent also wrote the story for the film. Be on the lookout as this is one of his first forays into a new production venture that will be responsible for multiple films over the next few years as 50 slowly shifts from music into the visual world.
