Chart-topping artists The Weeknd, Drake, Fetty Wap and Adele are among a slew of finalists for the 2016 Billboard Music Awards.

The Weeknd leads the pack with nods in 16 categories including Top Artist, Top R&B artist and Top R&B Album for Beauty Behind the Madness. Fellow Canadian Drake received 10 mentions, including Top Artist and Top Rap Artist.

Meanwhile, Fetty Wap grabbed 10 nominations as well including Top New Artist and Top Rap Artist. Pop singer Adele follows with eight nods, including Top Billboard 200 Artist and Top Artist.

Other multiple-nominated finalists include Wiz Khalifa, Bryson Tiller, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Ariana Grande and Future.

Ludacris and Ciara will host the 2016 Billboard Music Awards, which will air live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on May 22 on ABC.
