Just days after his associate Bankroll Fresh was gunned down, rapper 2 Chainz is having to address a rumor that he was robbed in Atlanta. The hip-hop star posted a video on Instagram blasting media personality Big Tigger, who apparently the rapper believed was responsible for sharing the story.

Alongside the caption, "No time for the rumors my album goin crazy #COLLEGROVE#longlivebank" 2 Chainz posted a video addressing the situation.

“Yo I just tried to called Big Tigger. Somebody @ Big Tigger and tell him to call my phone. Spreading rumors is a no no. You know we don’t f*ck with them rumors. Ain’t nobody robbed, touched me, done nothing. I’m in New York doing radio. RIP Bank.”

The two allegedly finally connected and Tigger explained that he wasn't spreading the story. 2 Chainz apologized and things seem to have been smoothed over.

"My bad , playaz fuc up," captioned the rapper in a second IG post.

As mentioned, this past weekend 28-year-old rapper Bankroll Fresh, born Trentavious White, was shot while inside an Atlanta recording studio. Police says over 50 shell casings were found both inside and outside the facility. 2 Chainz was a close associate and mentor to the rapper.
