Young Thug Arrested for Drug Possession, Reckless Driving

Rapper Young Thug hasn’t dropped a full-length album yet and he's already causing a stir in the media. The Atlanta native was arrested for various traffic violations and a drug-related offense early Wednesday morning (Feb. 26).

According to a Fulton County Jail Record (spotted by Complex), Young Thug, whose real name is Jeffrey L. Williams, was arrested on a myriad of charges including drug possession, driving without a seat belt, reckless conduct and driving in a circular or zig-zag course "laying drags."

Also arrested was Bloody Jay, who collaborated with Young Thug on his recent mixtape, 'Black Portland.'

Young Thug is one of the hottest prospects in the rap game at the moment. Recently, reports surfaced that he signed with Birdman’s Cash Money Records. His songs 'Stoner' and 'Danny Glover' have become Internet-driven hits with the former cracking the top 10 of the Billboard Hot Rap Songs chart and the latter receiving a guest verse from Nicki Minaj.

In addition, Young Thug is the cover star on the latest issue of Fader magazine.
