Wiz Khalifa’s Mom Sues Amber Rose for Defamation After Vulgar Phone Call

Things between Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa have seemed to be ok, but things between Rose and Wiz’s mother apparently are not.

According to a report from the Washington County Observer-Reporter, the rapper’s mother, Katie Wimbush-Polk, is suing Rose after the model allegedly made a profanity-laced phone call to another person blasting Wimbush-Polk. A lawyer for Khalifa’s mother said claims Rose “impute(d) criminality” which is “incompatible with her status as a grandmother and her status as a volunteer mentoring at-risk youth.”

The report claims that on June 19, Rose called Danesa Letic. Letic’s five-year-old niece picked up the phone which featured an angry Rose on the other end who reportedly “launched into a profane attack.” The lawsuit claims Rose then alleged Wimbush-Polk allowed her daughter Dorien Thomaz to die and was unfit to care for Wiz and Rose’s child, Sebastian. Khalifa’s sister Dorien passed away in 2017 after complications from lymphoma.

The motive for Rose’s call came after it was believed Wiz’s mother called child welfare services, although Wimbush-Polk’s complaint said she “made no such report at or around that time.” Wimbush-Polk is asking for damages of more than $50,000.

Neither Wiz Khalifa or Amber rose have responded to the suit.
