The year looked like it would be over before we heard a Beyonce album, but it turns out fans were witness to the Queen's masterful marketing plan. The singer followed her husband's lead (Jay Z announced his 'Magna Carta Holy Grail' album two weeks prior to its release), but she actually made no announcement at all. Instead, she debuted her self-titled LP at midnight last night.

The effort is a visual LP. Each of the 14 new tracks come with their own video -- each one as strongly produced as the last. These are also a diverse group of clips, as Beyonce switches from sexual to conceptual to personal like her moments with her daughter, Blue Ivy on 'Blue.' The album features three additional music videos -- including 'Grown Woman' -- to bring the visual count to 17.

The visual variety is also attributed to the number of collaborators. For instance, there are 12 directors involved in the project. Check out who they are as well as a preview of each of their works below.
