Positivity is key on the remix to 'Sunshine.' As the track gets going, Wale says he "feels phenomenal today, baby." His MMG buddy Rick Ross and Common rhyme also over the shimmery effort.

The choir chants throughout the track looks to bring forth positivity, and kingpin Ross changes up his usual lyrics as he looks forward to better days. It's not complete optimism, however, as he keeps one foot grounded in darker realities.

"Pray for a better today, bring my brother home/ N---a murdered a child, what the f--- you was on," Ross raps.

Common is prepping a heavy and political album from the looks of his previously released tracks, but even he can't resist sounding hopeful over this instrumental.

"Them panthers and the black cats used to hold/ The Kendrick Lamar Odom cause I lose control," Common spits.

Wale ends with a rapid-fire, in-the-clouds verse from the original version off 'The Gifted.' It does make sense the verse appears on that album though; 'The Gifted' was Wale's first project to hit No. 1 on the Billboard.
