Waka Flocka Flame Stops Fight With Hugs [VIDEO]
Waka Flocka Flame might put on a crazy show, but he's not going to stand for violence at them. So when two fans looked like they were about to beat each other up, the Atlanta rapper decided to intervene and stop it as quickly as possible.
It all went down in Scottsdale, Ariz., where the “Hard In The Paint” rhymer brought his show to a packed venue. And despite being surrounded by herds of fans, he and his security quickly stopped a fight before it got out of hand.
Not only did he called out each of the parties in the potential brawl, he also pushed them to hug each other and make peace.
"Hug him, n----," he yelled into the mic. "Hug him. Hug him right now!"
And the quarrel stopped as quickly as it began, and Waka went back to his show saying, "That's what I'm talking about. Let's party!"
He also posted the footage from the incident on his Instagram page. "I don't allow any fights going down amongst my fans at my shows!! #hugItOut !!!! Life is too short!!!" he captioned the clip.
The incident occurred a day after news broke regarding the cancellation of Waka Flaka Flame's Australian tour dates. While the promoter Down Under initially claimed that the postponed tour was due to the previous drug and gun charges, the rapper's reps have shot those rumors down.
"Waka Flocka Flame nor anyone involved with this tour has been denied entry into Australia. Anything to the contrary is simply not true. These shows have been postponed while the respective visa applications are pending approval," Paradigm Agency's Matt Adler said in a statement (via Billboard).
It looks like Waka has been cleaning up his act a bit since he's announced his plan to run for president in 2016. Perhaps he's taking this candidacy more seriously than many originally thought.
