Bay Area rapper Too Short was arrested in Las Vegas for driving drunk, Thursday morning. According to TMZ, the rapper was apprehended at 4AM after cops found that he was not only over the legal alcohol limit but was also in possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.

Short, born Todd Shaw, was initially pulled over for burning rubber on the streets of Sin City and remains in police custody. This isn't the first time the 43-year-old, who splits most of his time between Las Vegas and Atlanta, has been arrested for DUI. A few months ago he was pulled over in Vegas on the same charge.

Famous for his explicit rap lyrics, short hit the rap scene in 1983 and has since worked with rappers like Snoop Dogg, Diddy and the late Tupac Shakur. He released his last album in 2007 and recently recorded the theme song for former Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson's reality show on the E! entertainment network.
