One of hip-hop's most mysterious supergroups, The Four Horsemen, have announced that they are currently recording their long-awaited official debut, with the help of some friends.

The group, which now goes simply by The HRSMN, and features sharp-tongued spitters Canibus, Ras Kass, Killah Priest and Kurupt, first collaborated on the single 'Abide By' in 1998, a song which was re-recorded as 'Horsementality' on Canibus' 2000 album, '2000 B.C.' Their recording contracts/legal issues made releasing an official album impossible at the time, so the four members continued to guest on one another's projects for the next decade. In 2003, Killah Priest released a 9-song mini-album called 'The Horsemen Project,' as a glimpse at what might have been.

Seven years later, UStream footage has hit the 'Net of Priest, Kurupt and Ras Kass recording new HRSMN material. "We got Ras Kass, we got Killah Priest and we got Kurupt/Young Gotti," Kurupt says in the video. "Canibus is, right now, out of town, doin' work, but we're over here doin' it big. We've got the all star cast in here, bitch!"

In addition to recording a new album, the HRSMN are recording a song with Slaughterhouse, which you can hear in the background of the UStream video. "We doin' that Slaughterhouse/HRSMN collab, ya dig?" Kurupt revealed. "House of Horses, the four Slaughters man, ya dig?"

There is no word as to when the album will be released, or whose album the Slaughterhouse collaboration will appear on, but for fans of the apocalyptic supergroup, we dig.
