It’s safe to say that SZA is having the best year of her life. To cap off an otherwise fantastic 2017, the Top Dawg Entertainment artist performed two songs on Saturday Night Live over the weekend.

For her first performance, SZA sung the Ctrl track “The Weekend,” which reached platinum status by the RIAA. Backed by a full choir and band, the R&B sensation added a brief yuletide melody before launching into the song. Dressed in an emerald green gown, her voice soared over the gospel-esque rendition.

For her second performance, SZA performed another gospel-inflected rendition of “Love Galore.” Since there was no Travis Scott, the gospel choir filled in and provided the vocal backup she needed. Dressed in a yellow sweatsuit dress with a high slit, SZA delivered another mesmerizing performance.

Once again, SZA is having the best year ever. The 28-year-old singer recently garnered five Grammy nominations for her celebrated album Ctrl, which is gracing many critics’ year-end lists, including Time magazine’s Top Albums of 2017 list.
