Shyne Disses Kendrick Lamar, Says ‘good kid, m.A.A.d city’ is ‘Trash’
While Kendrick Lamar's critically acclaimed major label debut good kid, m.A.A.d city has been lauded by everyone from 50 Cent to Game, one unhappy expat has emerged as the chief voice of dissent.
"Yoooo! Kendrick Lamar is talented with a lot of potential but his album is traaaaash," Shyne tweeted earlier today. "The game Documentary even 50 get rich or die trying lived up to the hype and were classics. Good kid is trash!"
Though Kendrick did not respond to Shyne's unsolicited criticism, fellow Black Hippy MC Schoolboy Q fired back in his defense, "We all know @OriginalSHyne AIN'T EATIN!!!!! N---- ain't had a hot verse since '01."
Shyne then launched into a homophobic tirade against Q (since deleted), further drawing the ire of his peers.
"If Shyne ever make it bac to the states...somebody tell cuz his west coast pass is revoked," Nipsey Hussle wrote.
"Definitely gonna think about that when I ride to those old shyne albums," Curren$y tweeted. "Bummer man."
Kendrick Lamar's good kid, m.A.A.d city was released on Oct. 22, and is now expected to sell approximately 240,000 copies first week.
