Boyz II Men singer Shawn Stockman is coming to the defense of Chris Brown who appears in Lil Dicky’s hilarious and witty video for “Freaky Friday.” Apparently, Ed Sheeran and Kendall Jenner, who appear in the visual, are getting backlash for supporting Brown who was convicted of assaulting Rihanna.

TMZ caught up with Stockman and asked him if people should move on and stop hating Brown for his 2009 assault case.

"I want people to stop. Everybody has got their gavels out. Everybody loves to judge. Everybody loves to judge. Everybody loves to throw stones," he said. "And it's the crazy shit to me and I think people should stop."

"Chris is trying to live better and raise his daughter," he continued. "I don't see why everybody feels like they should be picking on Chris. Chris is doing Chris. And it's a funny video and song."

Stockman also talked about the Snapchat's PR nightmare regarding the “Would You Rather?” game ad that appeared to be making fun of domestic violence. The now-deleted ad featured photos of Rihanna and Chris Brown and asked users if they would "rather slap Rihanna or punch Chris Brown."

Rihanna blasted the company for making light of domestic violence and in turn Snapchat almost lost $1 billion in value, according to People.

Stockman said that Snapchat was in the wrong and the ad was completely in poor taste. "That's why social media is wack," he added.
