Rick Ross has been a bit more mum on the music front this year, as the MMG head honcho released a multitude of projects in the years priors, including two whole studio albums in the same year. The Black Market rapper isn't staying too quiet for long, as he's gearing up to drop another big project for fans by the time 2017 creeps around.

Last night at the 2016 American Music Awards, Rozay announced that he will be releasing his brand new album titled Rather You Than Me in the new year, which will be the 9th album of his career. The boss was at the awards show to perform his verse from DJ Khaled's "Do You Mind" track off of his Major Key album. While sporting a sweater that donned the title on the red carpet of the awards show, he confirmed the news on social media shortly after, as well as Instagram.

The Twitter visuals paired with the announcement play his newest song "Kyrie," which many are expecting will be featured on the project. Fans are also speculating that "Buy Back the Block," which sees guest features from 2 Chainz and Gucci Mane, will also be included on the track listing.

So far, there aren't any official details on the album, such as guests, or a real release date, but if we know Rozay, he's not going to keep those secrets for very long.
