Rapsody Gets ‘Sassy’ in Her New Video [WATCH]

Rapsody has had a great 2017, and she's capping it off with the release of the visuals to her energetic, Grammy-nominated song, "Sassy."

The video shows the rapper acting just as the song title suggests—sassy—as she convinces her homegirl to come out and party with her instead of hanging around in the bed moping over some bum dude.

"I like my t-shirts wit no sleeves/Ain't gotta bare arms to show I’m deadly/In a league of my own/Watch what you say you don't know who you among," she rhymes of the first verse of the upbeat song, produced by Eric G.

The North Carolina rapper has had a busy year, with the release of her acclaimed album, Laila's Wisdom. She just wrapped her Wisdom Is Power tour last week in Dallas. As for the Grammy's, Rapsody earned two nods for Best Rap album and Best Rap Song.

Meanwhile, Rapsody and fellow Grammy-nominated rapper, Cardi B, shared the love on Twitter earlier this month.

“My road manager put me on to some Rapsody last night and I really really like it!!!! It hit the Bardi in me!!” Cardi tweeted. Rapsody caught wind of the tweet and quickly responded back, “Mad love, sis! I appreciate you and celebrate you! Love your glow!”
