Pusha T Is Helping Kanye West Find His Creative Groove in Wyoming?
It's been reported that Kanye West has taken time away from Hollywood and social media to get back on track and find his creative groove again in the secluded mountains of Wyoming. Well, Page Six reports that longtime friend G.O.O.D. Music president, Pusha T has been aiding in the process, regularly visiting Kanye to check in on his progress and help him refocus.
“Pusha T has been visiting. He inspires Kanye to write. Kanye’s trying to find his creative voice again, and he has people there to help him get, and stay, on track. He’s still a little off and is trying to get himself back," a source reportedly told the publication.
After the events of the past year, including his hospitalization back in November 2016, sources say that Kanye is trying to center himself and get his creative mojo back on track. His last album, 2016's The Life of Pablo, became the first streaming-only album to go platinum. It was also innovative in that it was an ongoing project, as ‘Ye kept returning to make tweaks and updates to the record. 'Ye also secluded himself in Hawaii while working on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
As for Pusha, he's been busy and has a packed summer. Next month he'll participate in the 2017 BET Experience, where he'll be part of the Genius Talks series along side New Edition, Nick Cannon, actress Tracee Ellis Ross, director Ava DuVernay, choreographer Brooke Payne, and writer, director, and producer Issa Rae.
In the meantime, hopefully Kanye finds his center and his creative vibes return.
