At least one member of the Kardashian clan is having a good day. While Kanye West's sister-in-law, Kendall Jenner, has faced backlash following her controversial, if not completely bogus Pepsi ad, the rapper just made history.

'Ye's latest album, The Life of Pablo just became the first streaming-only album to achieve platinum certification. Although the ever-changing album was met with mostly mixed reviews, this is a big accomplishment, particularly as it pertains to the way music is consumed in a market that's still trying to find and define itself in the midst of change.

TLOP, Kanye's seventh solo album, also became the first mostly streaming-only album to hit no. 1 on the Billboard 200 back in April 2016. Kanye's Chicago-based peer, Chance the Rapper, had similar success earlier this year when he became the first artist ever to win a Grammy for a streaming-only album, Coloring Book.

Def Jam celebrated the accomplishment via Twitter. Take a look below.
