Pharrell Williams took his ubiquitous anthem ‘Happy’ to outer space with a futuristic performance at the 2015 Grammy Awards on Sunday (Feb. 8).

Looking like a spaced-out bellboy, the ‘G I R L’ creator led a team of dancers to help him sing and groove to the joyous song. The performance included a gospel choir, fraternity steppers and violinists, as they gleefully sang along to the upbeat lyrics.

After he concluded his performance, Pharrell clasped his hands in prayer and said, “Thank you God, I apologize for not mentioning you earlier, but as you can see, I’m at your service Lord."

The hitmaker's performance garnered some mixed reactions online. Some couldn't figure out what was happening onstage, while others noticed the dancers wearing hoodies and holding up their hands in a "Hands Up, Don't Shoot" stance.

Aside from his Grammy performance, Pharrell walked away with three golden gramophones as well. He won for Best Urban Contemporary Album for his 2014 effort, ‘G I R L,’ and Best Solo Pop Performance and Best Music Video for ‘Happy.’

Congrats to Skateboard P on his Grammy performance and his three wins. We know he’s a very ‘Happy’ guy tonight.
