Nia Long has been hip-hop's dream girl for some time now. For decades we've heard on several tracks from hip-hop's top rappers like Kanye West, Ghostface Killah, Juicy J and more recently J. Cole show their appreciation for the 45-year-old actress.

In her interview with Larry King, Long revealed she "grew up with hip-hop" and even addressed Cole's nod to her on the Phonix Beats-produced "No Role Modelz" from his critically acclaimed, 2014 Forest Hills Drive.

If you are unfamiliar with the song, Cole's lyric goes, "My only regret was too young for Nia Long."

But according to Long that's not true at all. “He’s really not too young,” Long told King. “He just doesn’t know it.”

Cole is married now so he may just have to live with his "regrets."

Rappers certainly were and still are feeling Long, who is famous for her roles in films such as Boyz N the Hood, Friday, Love Jones, The Best Man, Big Momma's House and many others.

“So I grew up at a time where Puffy Combs was running nightclubs in New York City, and Boyz in the Hood was out, and Heavy D - my beloved brother who I miss madly - you had Biggie Smalls, you had Tupac, and there was Boyz N the Hood,” Long recalled. "And I think that the rappers just kind of...were feeling Nia Long a little bit. I don’t know. I don’t know. I think it’s just part of the acknowledgment."
