Are you ready for some football? Or rather, are your ready for some Missy Elliott? The veteran rhyme-spitter, who delivered a fantastic performance with Katy Perry during last year’s Super Bowl halftime show, released a new song called “Pep Rally” on Sunday (Feb. 7).

The stadium-ready banger comes just in time as football fans get ready to watch the Super Bowl 50 matchup between the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers. The Pharrell Williams-produced track has a go-go music feel to it with blaring trumpets, whistles, conga slaps and call-and-response directions.

"Rocking not stopping, bend over go 'head touch your toes / Get it, now get it, now let your bottom scrape the floor / Bouncing and bouncing, now stop, drop, rock and roll / And yeah we get crackin' like we up at the Super Bowl," raps Missy.

Missy Elliott, who made her comeback last fall with “WTF (Where They From)," is poised to released her long-awaited solo studio effort sometime in 2016.

If you love Missy's song, you can cop it right now on iTunes.
