The battle rap world is exploding, taking an entirely new turn now that well-known artists are jumping into the ring.

Following Joe Budden's face-off against Hollow Da Don at the Total Slaughter battle, now Mike Jones is scheduled to battle Bone Crusher on Sept. 28 for 'New World Order II,' which is being put together by the battle rap league MC WAR.

On the same night, as the main event, Keith Murray will battle Onyx's Fredro Starr, and other matches include former Bad Boy artist E Ness versus Sy Ari Da Kid and Syd Vicious versus Su Severe.

Of course Bone Crusher's biggest hit came in 2003, with the club banger 'Never Scared,' featuring Killer Mike and T.I., and Mike Jones was a huge part of Texas' hip-hop reign with the 2004 smash 'Still Tippin'' and his 2005 album 'Who Is Mike Jones.'
