Meek Mill Details the Ups and Downs of Fame in ‘Price’ Video
After releasing the somber video for “We Ball,” Meek Mill details the ups and downs of fame in his new video for “Price.” The song is from his latest album, Wins & Losses.
The black-and-white visual begins with the Dreamchaser leader sharing his thoughts on being No. 1. “I ain’t doing this shit for money no more, I want to be the greatest,” he said. “I got so caught up in having money I forgot about...being the best. We ain’t doing this to be second.”
From there, we see various montages of Meek living the lavish life -- from driving drop-top Bentleys, to owning mansions, to luxurious trips to Dubai, Meek seems to have it all. His lyrics, however, paint a different story.
"I done did s--- for n----s a thousand times / Told them 'No' one time and watch 'em talk about me crazy, run and bite my back out / But I still stood tall," he raps.
The "Price" video was directed by Will NGO and served as the soundtrack for Chapter 3 of Wins & Losses (The Movie), which premiered last month.
Meanwhile, there's no word if Meek and Trick Daddy settled their differences regarding his comments about influencing the Miami lifestyle. The Philadelphia rhymer suggested that if anyone has a problem with him to step to him personally and stay off social media.
