Meek Mill Addresses Safaree Incident: ‘I’m a Don, I Don’t Need to Fight’ [VIDEO]
Meek Mill seems to be clueless as to what happened with Safaree Samuels when he got jumped near his vehicle in Los Angeles over the weekend. To recap, Safaree was exiting a DJ Khaled party when a couple of men -- allegedly part of Meek’s team -- ran up on the rapper and pummeled him. Safaree escaped unscathed but was clearly pissed off.
The Game, who also doesn’t like Meek, suggested that the two men duke it out either in the streets or at a celebrity boxing match. “Why not meet up and fight one-on-one,” he said. “It’s only fair.”
On Saturday night (June 24), TMZ caught up with Meek, who was rolling super deep with security, and asked him if he was willing to fight Safaree. At first, the Philly rhymer was trying to dodge the question by asking, “who?” Later, he told the cameraman that he doesn’t have beef with Safaree.
When the cameraman asked again if he would fight Safaree one-on-one, Meek gave a diplomatic answer.
"If we don't have no love for him, we ain't putting on no gloves on him," he said. He then added, "I'm a don, I don't need to fight."
Since the incident, Safaree has remained tight-lipped about it as well. So far, the self-proclaimed "Stunt Man" is enjoying the festivities surrounding the 2017 BET Awards. Check out the photos below.
