MC Eiht is ready to straight gaffled ‘em up again. The Compton legend recently announced that he’s working on a new Compton’s Most Wanted album.

CMW, which consists of Eiht, Tha Chill and DJ Mike T, were among the pioneers of the gangsta rap scene that delivered vivid pictures of gang life in their music. Their 1992 album Music to Driveby is considered a classic in the genre, as well as their 1991 song “Growin' Up in the Hood.”

After six albums - their last being 2006's Compton’s O.G. in 2006 - CMW disbanded but it looks like they have reunited for one more project. MC Eiht told HipHopDX that he’s in the studio crafting the group’s seventh studio recording.

“I’m workin,” he said. “I’ll be ready in June. I’ll have two videos — one from my solo album and one from CMW. That’s BLUESTAMP official. Geah!”

Eiht is also working on two solo music project. According to HipHopDX, the the 47-year-old rap vet is prepping his Keep It Hood 2 EP, which is a follow-up to his 2013 effort of the same name. Eiht is also working on the the sequel to 2017's Which Way Iz West, aptly titled Which Way Iz West II, which is his joint project with DJ Premier.
