Lil Wayne’s Daughter Says He’s Doing Fine After Suffering Seizure
Lil Wayne's daughter, Reginae Carter, says that he's doing fine after suffering a seizure this weekend.
Wayne was hospitalized after suffering at least one seizure on Sunday. Reps for the rapper told TMZ that Weezy was found unconscious in his Chicago hotel room and was rushed to Northwestern Memorial hospital, where he had another minor seizure. Subsequently, Wayne’s Las Vegas show was canceled.
However, Wayne's daughter, Reginae, says that her dad is doing fine, which she announced on Twitter Monday (Sept. 4).
“My dad is doing fine everyone!" she wrote on Twitter. "Thanks for the concern you guys are amazing” she tweeted out before adding “Oh yeah… & don’t believe everything you hear.”
After suffering seizures back in 2013, Wayne revealed that he's suffered from epilepsy since childhood.
“The bad news is I’m an epileptic, I’m prone to seizures,” Wayne told Power 106 back then. “Like, this isn’t my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh seizure. I’ve had a bunch of seizures, y’all just never hear about them.”
It's unclear whether he's still in the hospital or if he's been released.
