"I'm pro-violence against enemies of this Republic."

That's what Killer Mike tweeted after the white nationalist Richard Spencer was punched in the face at Donald Trump's inauguration. It happened after the so-called "alt-right" personality gave an interview and denied that he's a neo-Nazi.

"This is amazing," wrote Mike after seeing the punch. "Last I checked, Nazis were still on my grandads, 'f--- up on-sight list.'"

At one point, one of the rapper's followers denounced the video and said it supported violence, which the Run the Jewels member responded to.

"Why do these crazy wanna [be] racist white guys always choose the loser side?" he asked. "Confederate and Nazi history has a big L on it ... You do realize dudes a Nazi wanna be? I think it's ok for a white guy to knock the s--- outta a Nazi still."

As far as Spencer, he's often talked about separating white people from the rest of the U.S. and has other hateful views, including doing Hitler salutes at his conferences and shouting, "Hail Trump!"

"What I would ultimately want is this deal of a safe space effectively for Europeans," he told NPR in November. "This is a big empire that would accept all Europeans. It would be a place for Germans. It would be a place for Slavs. It would be a place for Celts. It would be a place for white Americans and so on."
