Kelela is generating a huge buzz with her latest single, “LMK” (aka “Let Me Know”). The song is from her upcoming debut album, Take Me Apart.

In her new video for the aforementioned song, the electro-R&B star is fierce and fabulous as she struts her stuff inside a futuristic nightclub. Throughout the visual, the 34-year-old singer is showcasing an array of fashionable looks. From rocking a blonde wig to shaking her svelte figure in a leather bikini outfit, Kelela is in full girl power mode.

In an interview with The FADER, Kelela said the song is a kiss-off to a potential one-night stand. "The song is directed at a man who's being weird instead of being honest," she said. "Does casual have to be careless? Is wifey the only woman who deserves your respect, and why do you think I want more when I demand it? These are my questions."

Judging by the video, Kelela is not going to let a dishonest man ruin her good time in the club. "It ain't that deep by the way," she sings in the clip. "No one's tryin' to settle down / All you gotta do is let me know."

Kelela's album, Take Me Apart, will arrive on Oct. 6 via Warp Records. You can pre-order the project right now on iTunes.
