K. Michelle showcased a more domineering presence onstage compared to most of the other performers at the 2013 Soul Train Awards.

To kick-start her set, an alarm sounded, warning the audience there was "a growing epidemic of the grown boy syndrome" (no statistics confirm that, of course). K. Michelle then moved into 'Can't Raise a Man,' which she performed on a darker stage lit up by blue and red lights.

The intensity faded away as the stage turned white and the songstress segued into 'V.S.O.P.' Diamonds rained on a screen behind her while male dancers grooved around her for this more celebratory performance. The show sequence was at the least appreciated by Lil Mama, who was seen nodding her head in the audience.

The 'Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta' star released her debut album 'Rebellious Soul' in August.
