Not trailing far behind her is Bruno Mars with six nominations, including two nominations for Song of the Year for “That’s What I Like,” and Album/Mixtape of the Year for 24K MagicRihannaDJ Khaled, and Bryson Tiller received nominations for Video of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Collaboration for "Wild Thoughts."

SZA and Khalid are both nominated across several categories as well. SZA is nominated for Best New Artist, Best R&B/Soul Female Artist, and Album/Mixtape of the Year for CTRL. Khalidis nominated for Best New Artist, Best R&B/Soul Male Artist, Song of the Year for "Location" as well as the Ashford & Simpson Songwriter’s Award. As for Erykah, who has shined as host of the show in previous years, she continues to be honored for her contributions to both music in culture. Just last month, a petition was introduced to rename a confederate park in Dallas after her, receiving thousands of signatures. And recently, her classic song, "On & On" was covered by R&B rising star, 6lack, in a striped down acoustic performance.

The 2017 Soul Train Awards will be filmed on Nov. 5 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. BET Presents: 2017 Soul Train Awards will then air on BET and BET HER on Nov. 26 at 8 p.m. ET.
