K. Michelle is Looking for Answers on ‘How Do You Know’

K. Michelle is a pretty busy lady. Not only is she starring in her own VH1 reality series, 'K. Michelle: My Life,' she's about to release her sophomore album, 'Anybody Wanna Buy A Heart.'

For her third single off the album, the 30-year-old singer shows extreme vulnerability and asks a question many have in failed relationships: How can you tell what the union is missing since you've given your all? That's the basic concept of the touching ballad 'How Do You Know.'

Over an acoustic piano with no drums, the former Florida A&M University student belts out sincere lyrics, which contain a hint of sadness about a relationship going awry.

"It feels so good in the moment, but it's just the moment that will soon be over / Why was my thoughts so sober / And I'll trade it all up just to believe again, looking for reasons why it's never the right time / How do I forget about the past so easily and start again," she sings.
