Congratulations Justine Skye! The 20-year-old singer is now signed to Roc Nation.

The purple-haired Brooklynite took to Twitter to share the news first, then later she uploaded a lengthly post to Instagram to share her excitement.

"So happy to let you guys know that I'm now with Roc Nation. Being a girl from Brooklyn... there's no other label I would rather be at. Thank you guys for believing in me, now it's about to get real," read the post.

Hailing from Fort Greene, Skye has been a force in the underground R&B scene for a few years. On YouTube, she often gaining hundreds of thousands of views on each post, including a cover of Drake's "Headline" and RiRi's "Diamonds." On top of that, Skye released two EPs, Everyday Living and Emotionally Unavailable.

The latter project contains a collaboration with another Roc Nation artist, Vic Mensa titled "I'm Yours." It's no wonder she was on The Boombox's list for singers to watch out for in 2015!

Skye, who was previously signed to Atlantic Records, is the latest to sign to "The Roc." DJ Khaled recently announced that he will be managed under the label -- he also nabbed the last Roc-a-Fella chain from Jay Z himself.

It seems Roc Nation is making power moves in 2016. However, while artists like Rihanna and Vic Mensa have flourished under the label, Rita Ora has been fighting to get out of her contract with the imprint.

However, we hope for the best with their newest signee. Check out our interview with Skye here and peep her announcement above and below.
