Juelz Santana On His ‘Lost’ Lil Wayne Collaborations: ‘I Had About 100 Records’ [VIDEO]
Do you remember several years ago when Lil Wayne and Juelz Santana were hanging out a lot and obviously influencing each other's rhymes?
In fact, their full-on collaboration project never seeing the light of day still has folks disappointed, and people are still talking about it.
During the time they were partnering up, Juelz and Weezy recorded a bunch of songs together that were lost when the Dipset rapper got arrested in 2011. He spoke about it during a recent interview with Complex.
"When the police raided my studio, I had about 100 records," he explained. "I had my hard drive back, I had nothing. S--t was erased. I think I got a couple more records left for Wayne [that] we didn't put out from that time, but a lot of records were on that hard drive ... Wayne may still have the records ... He would send me his verse. I would send him my verse."
The Harlem rapper also spoke about the current beef between Cam'ron and Jim Jones, and he says that their problems aren't that serious. Although he did state that their respective crews might get into it if they saw each other.
"It's a brotherhood, because I think other people in that situation, when they see each other, it would come to a lot more than if Jim Jones and Cam'ron seen each other right now," said Juelz. "They would probably end up laughing and giving each other a hug or something."
