A man who is accused of biting off another man fingertip at Jay Z and Beyonce‘s On the Run concert this past weekend has been charged.

As we previously reported, concertgoer Roberto Alcaraz Garnica got into an altercation with another man after he allegedly groped the person’s wife. The fight turned horrific as Garnica bit off the man’s fingertip, sending him to the hospital.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office announced on Tuesday (Aug. 5) in a press release that Garnica was charged with one felony count each of mayhem and battery with serious bodily injury and one misdemeanor of battery.

“Garnica pushed a woman at the concert into some chairs,” officials stated in a press release (via
Whittier Daily News). “When the woman’s husband confronted the defendant he punched the husband and a fight ensued.”

“During the fight Garnica allegedly bit the tip of the male victim’s left index finger off completely,” the statement concluded.

If convicted, Garnica is facing eight years in prison. He’s currently in custody on $100,000 bail.

Meanwhile, photos of the chewed off fingertip surfaced online and it’s downright gruesome. The pics revealed half of the victim’s index finger was gnawed off. It’s truly a bloody mess.

If you can’t stomach blood — and there’s lots of it — and mangled skin, we warn you to not look at the photos.
