Just when we thought that Ice-T's war with the NYPD after being arrested for driving without a seatbelt would end with both sides issuing some disses and moving on, the rapper and 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit' star is apparently still a bit annoyed.

The former rapper-turned-actor claims that the arrest was completely unwarranted and any claims of insurance problems are completely bogus. Now, he's set on some bigger revenge and plans to sue either the DMV or his insurance company in response to the administrative mistake that led to the mess in the first place.

When Ice-T was initially arrested, he claimed that the officer found "something in the computer called an insurance lapse." Apparently, officials thought the lapse had stretched back to 2008, but there was actually some sort of administrative error made by the DMV or Ice's insurance company.

"At the end of the day, after I get this dismissed... I either can sue the DMV or the insurance company," Ice-T said in a statement to TMZ. "That's when I have my revenge."

He added that the cop could have easily issued him a ticket -- a formality that would have been dismissed when Ice-T produced proof that he actually had current insurance. This is the reason the rapper was apparently so angry about the arrest. Everything about it reeked of abuses of power and, knowing Ice-T, someone is going to have to pay for it.
