Ice-T Beats Traffic Charge, Proves DMV Was at Fault

Today, gangsta rapper-turned 'Law & Order: SVU' star Ice-T fought the law and won.

On July 20, Ice was charged with driving with failure to wear a seatbelt and driving without valid insurance. The West Coast rap legend vehemently protested his charges over the past month, criticizing the arresting officer, whom he referred to as a "punk b---- rookie cop," for arresting him without just cause.

Today he received vindication, beating the traffic charges, which were dismissed by a judge in a Manhattan court, when Ice-T proved that the alleged insurance lapse was actually due to the DMV's failure to properly update its records.

After his day in court, Ice-T and wife Coco reportedly announced "We're going to Disneyland!"
