Happy Birthday, Eve! The rapper-actress is 39 years old today (Nov. 10).

As a hitmaker, Eve was a fixture on the charts in the late 1990s/early 2000s; her albums Let There Be Eve...Ruff Ryders First Lady and Scorpion were multiplatinum sellers. And she was on countless hits; with verses on Blackstreet's "Girlfriend/Boyfriend" featuring Janet Jackson and Missy Elliott's "Hot Boyz." Eve's 2001 hit "Who's That Girl," was a smash and crossover hits "Let Me Blow Ya Mind" with Gwen Stefani and "Gangsta Lovin'" with Alicia Keys were ubiquitous during the TRL era.

She made a venture into acting that immediately turned out to be a good decision. Her first two films, xXx and Barbershop, were box office successes, and in 2003, UPN was convinced they should give her her own show. Eve, which ran from 2003 to 2006, was part of a lineup that included The ParkersGirlfriends and One on One.

Eve's onscreen success put her rap career on hiatus, but she finally came back with 2013s Lip Lock. And she appeared in 2016s hit comedy Barbershop: The Next Cut alongside fellow rapper/actors Ice Cube, Common and Nicki Minaj. Since 2014, she's been happily married to billionaire British entrepreneur Maximillion Cooper.
