Gucci Mane is having a great 2017. He recently released a memoir, The Autobiography of Gucci Mane which is now a New York Times bestseller, got married to the love of his life, and released his new album, Mr. Davis.

Gucci's new album Mr. Davis came in at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 selling 70,000 units in its first week. According to the site, the success of the album was largely due to streams. The album received 21,000 traditional album sales and 46,000 SEA units (equaling 68.7 million streams of the songs on the album during its debut frame).

Mr. Davis ties his 2016 release, Everybody Looking, as Gucci Mane's highest-charting album. Everybody Looking sold 68,000 units. The new album also took a big win on the rap albums chart coming in at No. 1.

"My fans made #MrDavis number1 rap album," Gucci tweeted. This is his fourth album to hit the top 10 on the Billboard 200 and his 19th charting album overall.
