Gucci Mane and Fifth Harmony Take Home Best Pop Video at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards
Gucci Mane's guest spot on Fifth Harmony's "Down" netted Guwop and the ladies the Moonperson for Best Pop Video at the 2017 Video Music Awards, beating out Harry Styles, Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes, Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus.
Normani, Dinah, Ally, Lauren of Fifth Harmony were all candid and sincere as they took the stage--as was Gucci. The members of Fifth Harmony all choked back tears.
"Thank you so much to our families. We know that it's not easy raising four women," Normani Kordei said. "We put you through hell and back."
"This is such a monumental moment for us," Ally said. "I'm just grateful for how far we've come."
Gucci was honest in his speech and praised Fifth Harmony.
"I never won an award or prepared a speech, but I want to thank Fifth Harmony for letting me be part of a beautiful record," he said.
