Game may have let his fists of fury loose during a basketball game last month, but the punch will likely cost him big bucks since the victim he assaulted is now suing.

Onyebuchi Awaji, an off-duty rookie police officer, was personally introduced to the newly inked portrait of Mike Tyson on Game's hand when he punched him in the face in the middle of a basketball game in Los Angeles. He is suing the rapper over the incident, which he claims he did nothing to provoke, according to TMZ.

Awaji filed the suit on Monday (April 6), stating that the blow to the head he received may have caused brain damage. Sources affiliated with Game’s camp maintain he struck Awaji in self-defense after he threatened the MC with a gun.

It looks like this is one courtroom drama that can turn ugly. TMZ released video of the scuffle on March 31 and both men seemed to elbow one another as usual in the contact sport. In any event, Game has yet to respond to the suit. He appears to be living life as usual, kicking it in the studio with Drake earlier this week.
