Kelly Rowland attended the 3rd annual Essence Black Women in Music event, presented by the Lincoln MKX Crossover, Wednesday night (Feb. 8) in Hollywood and was honored for her achievements in the music industry alongside record label veteran Sylvia Rhone.

Dressed in a flowing orange gown, the former Destiny's Child member was joined by her one-time group mate Michelle Williams, who supported her friend's accomplishments. Rowland performed hits like 'Motivation' during the festivities and was accompanied by rap star Eve for one special song. The latter showcased her rhyming talents on the duo's joint track 'Like This,' featured on Rowland's 2007 LP, 'Ms. Kelly.'

"To all women out there, God bless you," Rowland said at the end of her set. "I couldn't have done this without you."

The Texas native was also presented with a platinum plaque by songwriter Rico Love, who wrote 'Motivation.' Other stars in attendance included Ne-Yo, MC Lyte, Melanie Amaro, Kenny Lattimore and Letoya Luckett. In addition to gracing the red carpet, celebrities, including Rowland, were snapped in front of the new Lincoln MKX Crossover.
