Drake Expands His Brand by Opening Restaurant in Toronto [PHOTOS]
Make no mistake about it. Drake is one of the busiest rappers. If dropping a mixtape with Future wasn't enough, Drizzy just opened a restaurant in his hometown of Toronto, Canada.
The 28-year-old rhymer partnered with superstar chef Susur Lee and opened Fring’s restaurant on Monday (Sept. 21) with a star-studded event. According to Huffington Post Canada, Jaden Smith deejayed the affair while celebrities partied and enjoyed delicious appetizers like salmon tartare on garlic chips and homemade French fries with a vinegar mayo. Delish.
Drake's girlfriend, tennis icon Serena Williams, reportedly was in attendance although there were no photos snapped of them together. However, the 6 God's mother, Sandi Graham, was in the house and mingled with guests.
There's no word on exactly which food will be featured on the menu but Chef Lee says that it will include Asian-inspired cuisines. The eatery is expected to be open to the public very soon. Congrats to Drake on expanding his business portfolio with his new restaurant. Check out some of the photos below.
So last night I had the pleasure of checking out Susur Lee and the OVO crew's newest restaurant on king West. There to celebrate was the 6 God himself.
