Drake Fires More Shots at Meek Mill During Philly Show, Meek Mill’s Dreamchasers Try to Confront Him
Drake, who has really been feeling himself during the Summer Sixteen Tour, took shots at Meek Mill again during stop in Philadelphia last night, following his diss just the day before in D.C. when he called Meek a "p---y."
This go around, Drizzy had more words for Meek, even wearing Philly hometown hero, Allen Iverson's, jersey on stage to drive his point home. He changed the lyrics of "Trophies" from “This a f---them-boys, forever-hold-a-grudge song” to “f---that-boy-forever, I hold a grudge son.” He also rapped some new "Still Here" lyrics: "Man you not really from Philly and they can tell n---a.”
To finish it off, he changed up the lyrics of "Back to Back." "I did another one, I did another one / I even did this s--- in Philly, man another one."
Drake capped the track with an even more direct shot, insisting that he's not dissing Philly, just Meek. In fact, Drizzy said that he was "born in Toronto" but felt like "Philly adopted us."
"And just remember, when you watch that video over and over tonight, it’s not about your city, I love your city. You did that s-- to your motherf---in’ self boy.”
And that's when things got dramatic, because after the show, Meek Mill apparently had his Dreamchaser goons waiting for Drake outside, 100-200 deep. But no dice. They ended up disappointed because Drake left after the show, and dissed him for hiding behind security.
Beef aside, Lil Wayne also showed up and performed "HYFR" and "A Milli." Drake and Weezy teased a second co-headlining tour together, following their Street Fighter-themed tour in 2014.
