From 'Ellen' and 'Chelsea Lately' to ESPN and CRWN, Drake has been anywhere and everywhere lately promoting his new album, 'Nothing Was the Same.' The Toronto rapper gave his most in-depth interview yet last night when he sat down with Hot 97's Angie Martinez.

Half-jokingly pushing her guest for "crazy talk," Angie quizzed Aubrey about Kendrick Lamar's much-discussed 'Control' verse. Clearly not able to grasp the idea of friendly competition, Drake said he believes Kendrick's sentiments weren't "real" enough because he didn't give him the Kobe stare at the VMA's days after the song dropped. I'll let Adam DeVine do the honors.

Two rappers Drizzy isn't currently crying over, though, are Jay Z and Kanye West. He called his relationship with Hov the "strongest" in the game and talks about wanting to make him proud, while he named Kanye a "very prominent inspirational guide" in his life. Despite his admiration for The Throne, Drake still believes he made the best album of the year (whatever you say, champ).

As for his apparent distant relationship with his Young Money family (like not showing up to the Cash Money reunion at the BMI Awards last month), Mr. Graham assured fans all is still well. He revealed that he talks to Birdman almost every day, and the vibes are still good between him and Wayne.

Check out the full interview above and below to hear Drake further discuss the YOLO sensation, what he's listening to right now and his dating history. He also announces that he's got more songs dropping soon.
