Donald Glover had a winning weekend. The multi-hyphenate snagged Best Actor In A Comedy Series for his breakout FX hit, Atlanta at the Critics' Choice Awards, beating out Patrick Stewart and Bill Hader.

In an impromptu funny moment, Atlanta co-star Keith Stanfield, who hilariously plays "Darius" on the series, crashed the stage and “accepted” the award on behalf of Silicon Valley before quickly walking off. Basically, rightly indicating that he should've won the award.

The win for Glover comes on the heels of what has been a stellar year. Earlier this month he released Awaken My Love! as Childish Gambino, and promptly propelled himself to the top of the list for album of the year with the expansive, funk-filled offering. Awaken My Love!, is his first album in three years since releasing Because The Internet in 2013. He also dropped a 360 degree virtual reality video for the lead single from the album, "Me and Your Mama," further showcasing his vision and innovation.

Atlanta has been picked up for a second season by FX.
