Diddy, Mary J. Blige, Lil Kim, Faith Evans & More Perform at Bad Boy Family Reunion Concert [PHOTOS]
History was made as Diddy and several artists of Bad Boy Entertainment rocked the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Friday (May 20).
The all-star concert was dedicated to the late Notorious B.I.G. who would have celebrated his 44th birthday today (May 21). According to the New York Daily News, music legends Mary J. Blige, Busta Rhymes, Rick Ross, Usher and more graced the stage to celebrate Bad Boy Records’ musical legacy.
Some of the highlights at the event included Blige doing the Uptown dance during her performance of “Be Happy.” That was followed by Jay Z and MJB performing “Can’t Knock the Hustle” (from Hov’s Reasonable Doubt album). Jay then took a moment to perform an exhilarating rendition of his own track, “Public Service Announcement.”
Elsewhere, Faith Evans performed her 1995 ballad “As Soon as I Get Home.” Another highlight was Total reuniting onstage to perform some of their classic hits. The LOX also came together for a quick medley of their hits as well.
The concert is a precursor to a planned 25-city tour that is expected to kick off in August.
Congratulations to Diddy and the rest of the Bad Boy Records Family.
