Dej Loaf is back with a new single called "Snakes."

The YOG$-produced track is the third single following "Miami" and "Phone Down." Over the past few weeks, Dej has been releasing new music while prepping her forthcoming album which she has only vaguely confirmed as "coming soon."

On the song, Dej effortlessly raps about her money, style, making things happen and not trusting everybody. She starts the song spitting, "I’ve learned, you gotta be smarter than them n----s. Out work your opponents, do s--- independent. If you ain't where you wanna be, why the f--- are you chillin'?"

She continues hard with the second verse. "Snakes, they ain't too far, they in your face. The closest ones ain't who they say. Envy, jealousy, hate. Gotta get 'em out the way, before it's too late."

It hasn't been clarified if any of the singles recently released will be on the album or not, but she's definitely keeping her fans musically satisfied. "Phone Down" was her re-working of the Erykah Badu song from Badu’s 2015 mixtape, But You Caint Use My Phone.

The 25-year-old rapper has had numerous hits, including her single "Try Me" and collaborations on "Be Real" with Kid Ink and "Ryda" with the Game. She released one major label EP in 2015, ...And See That's the Thing, as well as three mixtapes since 2012, including this year's All Jokes Aside.

Deja's career continues to excel. Just last year she opened for Nicki Minaj's Pinkprint tour alongside Tinashe and special guest Meek Mill and appeared on Eminem's star-studded city anthem "Detroit vs. Everybody."
