Even though Danity Kane disbanded in August as a result of turmoil within the group, it doesn't mean that Dawn Richard is sitting home wiping her tears. In fact, she's doing the exact opposite, as she just released a catch new song called 'Professional,' produced by Yonni.

The slender beauty draws on her experience to slay the competition in her relationship and in bed. "Tell me babe what you desire / You got that smoke but I'll get you higher / I'm so professional you'll think I'm hired / Pulling all night so don't tell me you're tired," she sings confidently over thumping bass and catchy synths.

The track will be on her sophomore album, 'Blackheart,' which serves as part two of her album trilogy, 'Heart.'

In an interview with Billboard, the former Diddy-Dirty Money artist said despite the physical altercation she had with Danity Kane member Aubrey O'Day, she still considers herself part of the group.

"I'm still a part of the other five," she said. "I'm never turning that down. I just think I've done the best that I possibly could. I did my part in releasing the [Danity Kane] album, so now all I can do is support whatever's out there and wish everyone the best, and now continue to make great music that doesn't affect my group. We're not promoting it, we're not even doing videos or anything for it, which was the decision that wasn't my own. So I have to move forward."

And moving forward she is. 'Blackheart' will be released on Jan. 15, 2015.
